PostgreSQL Operations Management

This two day course provides a detailed overview of the PostgreSQL relational database system. It is designed to enable delegates to manage an PostgreSQL installation: to configure the environment, set up databases and ensure reliability and integrity.

Delegates should be familiar with the appropriate operating system and have experience of systems management and ideally some experience of a relational database.

The course uses a hands on approach. At the end of the course the students should be familiar with PostgreSQL architecture together with the various PostgreSQL commands and facilities available to manage an PostgreSQL installation.
