Linux System Administration

This two day course is designed for System Administrators of a Linux based computer system hosting applications accessed via PCs/workstations on a Local Area Network. Students should have a basic knowledge of PCs, DOS, Windows and some exposure to a version of Linux or UNIX.
This course provides an understanding of the components of the Linux computer system, covering the key areas of Systems Administration.
Using a hands-on approach, the course shows the student how to use the various commands, procedures and tools used to maintain the system. At the end of the course the students will have an understanding of the activities involved in configuring and managing the computer system.
