Introduction to Tru64 Unix

This one day course is designed for users of an Tru64 UNIX based computer system hosting applications accessed via PCs on a Local Area Network. This course is ideal for students with no prior knowledge of Tru64 UNIX.

This course provides an introduction to both the Tru64 UNIX based Local Area Network and the Tru64 UNIX operating system.

Using a hands on approach, the course shows the student how to use the network to share and print files from the Personal Computer, how to use the PC to access the Tru64 UNIX computer, and how to use the key Tru64 UNIX commands. At the end of the course the student will be able to make effective use of the Tru64 UNIX operating system, enhancing their use of applications running in this environment.
